As you may know our Speed skating season is beginning this week!
Thanks to all our returning members, you choose our club year after year, we are truly blessed! 😇
To all our new members welcome to West Island Cyclones Speed Skating Club. If you are part of our Penguins Skating School we hope your child enjoys learning to skate with us, and if you are switching from another ice skating sport we hope your child will enjoy learning how to skate like a real speed skater 😀!
Now let’s get down to business, all members should have received an invitation to Spond (replacing Teamsnap), for schedule management, attendance, chat, etc. If you have not received an invitation please let us know ASAP. If that’s the case here is a list of our first practices by group:
Group 1 – Thursday 07-SEP Dry-land 6pm & On-Ice 7pm @ DDO Rink 1
Group 2 – Saturday 09-SEP Dry-land 9:15am & On-Ice 10am @ Pierrefonds Rink 4
Group 3 – Thursday 07-SEP Dry-land 5:15pm & On-Ice 6pm @ DDO Rink 1
Group 4+ – Thursday 07-SEP Glace 5pm & Dry-land 6pm @ DDO Rink 1
Group 4 – Sunday 09-SEP Dry-land 9:15am & On-Ice 10am @ DDO Rink 1
Penguins Skating School 09-SEP On-Ice 8:30am @ DDO Rink 3
Finally, as you may know our board is composed of parent volunteers & we are looking to expand to create sub-groups which will help make this season our best season yet! These sub-groups will be working with a board member. Here are the current openings:

-Group coordinators (1 coordinator for each group mentioned above)
-Website coordinator
